Jiak Zhey is a vegetarian food kiosk inside Whitesands mall located at basement 1, next to Prima Deli. They serve all-time local favourites such as nasi lemak, vegetarian chicken rice, vegetarian duck rice, brown rice bento, rice dumplings, etc. They offer take away only; items are nicely packed in a box. We tried their chicken rice and brown rice bento. Their chicken rice is nicely done and serving portion is just right. Food is healthy, not salty or greasy. It's rare to see such vegetarian food kiosk inside a mall. Their food pricing is reasonable and acceptable based on their location and food quality. We would recommend Jiak Zhey for daily vegetarian meals, especially for those who stay nearby. Updated from previous review on 2018-12-20

I was very disappointed when I ordered the nasi lemak as it came without any chili.

Recently, this restaurant has been refusing to accommodate my requests (offering a very limited menu), serving incredibly small portions, and serving food with inedible parts, then arguing about it and mockingly asking if I understand why they won't replace it. No apologies, just ridiculous.
