Papa's And Beer, Simpsonville

The refried beans were excessively salty, and the tables were not clean. We had a great experience at Papas and Beer when it was in Johnson City, Tennessee, before it closed, so we were hoping for something similar this time, but we ended up disappointed. It seems that quality control has declined. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I had dinner at this restaurant on September 3, 2022, and it had been a while since my last visit. I noticed the Loteria decor, which looked nice, and I hoped that things had improved. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre. Everything seemed fine until I spotted two mice in the back closet. It was extremely disgusting, and given that they were scurrying around with so many people nearby, it's likely there are more of them. I will definitely not be returning.

I absolutely love the cozy spot in Simpsonville; it's definitely the best one around. The food is incredibly flavorful and practically melts in your mouth, leaving you fully satisfied. The portion sizes are impressive, making the prices more than reasonable. Right now, my favorite dish is the sizzling skillet enchiladas—you absolutely have to try them! Their salsa bar is always stocked with fresh options, and everything is bursting with flavor. Your taste buds and stomach will thank you!

Ordered via Grubhub and was very unsatisfactory! The chicken taquitos were burnt, the nachos were soggy, and the third picture is not what I even ordered. I ordered a taco salad and they sent me a taco! When I called the restaurant they told me they gave me back the $3 difference for the salad and just charged me for a taco instead. If I had wanted a taco, I would have ordered one or made one at home. They didn?t want to refund my order, and said I would have to bring all of the food back up there she would see what they could do. So no guarantee that this would even be corrected. I will never order from here again.

Excellent fajitas, and just one margarita was all we needed. The Guacamole was made fresh at the table.
