Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I always make sure to stop at The Circus Room for lunch whenever we are in the area. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. My favorite dish is the Circus salad, which is always so fresh and the feta cheese is generously topped. Their wraps are also very large and satisfying, with enough for leftovers to enjoy later. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions and the staff is exceptional. I only wish this restaurant was closer to where we live.
After being a loyal customer to JoJo's in Simcoe i decided to give The Circus Room a shot since i was in the area. I ordered lemon pepper wings, extra crispy with some fries, first off the wings were dry, rubbery, extremely under seasoned and not being crispy at all, in fact they seemed to be old chicken wings.. not fresh at all.. also the fries were soft and soggy.... JoJo's is where its at for the best chicken wings and they'll have my business from here on in without a doubt
I noticed on another review site this place has a 4.3 stars. Do they own that site? Besides a rude waitress, I sense she doesn’t like Asian’s of which my wife is, but after I was extremely nice to her she mellowed a bit. The food was a Bad Joke! Portions were ok but that just means more left on the plate. Burnt Wings, overcooked Sweet Potatoes fries and my so-called “Schnitzel Burger” was nothing more than slices of Back Bacon with slices of regular bacon added, on top of a soggy bun that was falling apart with the first bite. I had a side of bunt and broken onion rings. Plus, I don’t know if it was intentional, but I believe my wife was food poisoned, and I don’t say this lightly. Anti-Asian? Later that night and to the next morning she experienced strong stomach pains and she is NEVER sick. What kind of Circus are they running there?! Maybe the clown from the movie IT was the cook, but this is no joke. If you want at least decent and safe food, go somewhere else; anywhere else! Oh and to ad insult to injury, it was just shy of $40 with no drink, just a soggy bacon sandwich with burnt onion rings, and my wife’s 8 wings and SP Fries : Btw I didn’t take the time to take pics cause both our phones were in the car. Ironically, we were so hungry we could’ve “eaten a horse” which, in hindsight, would have been a better option :
We stopped in for lunch last week. The staff member who served us was delightful. My chicken Caesar wrap was very good. The fries were ok but pretty tasteless. I'd order the chunky fries next time. The turkey open faced sandwich was ok.
Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! The bartender barked orders at the very, very young bus boy the entire time we were in there. It was horrible! The food was greasy and nasty. It was suppose to come with sides it did not. The patrons were drunk (it was dinner time). I've lived here for 6 years, this was my first time in this establishment and it will be my last. Cash only business too, so we know what that means. NOT a nice place and definitely do not bring children in here. Did I say YUCK yet!
