The Bulldog Grand Cafe

We had a wonderful dinner outside on the patio. The service was attentive and reliable. We tried several dishes, including the amazing tower of nachos which were some of the best I've ever had. The Indonesian Rendang was delicious, as were the steak sandwiches and fresh salmon (even though we were surprised by the Atlantic origin).

My boyfriend and I come back to the Bulldog every year for the outstanding service from the girls on the floor, the the guys behind the bar, and the crew in the kitchen. Some of the friendliest service in the village, and the food and cocktails always come out great. It's a very cozy atmosphere where you feel like your at home every time you step in there. Can't wait to go back.

We were very disappointed here. My husband asked the server about the size of the lunch chicken salad. The server said it was a good size . Well the nearly $30 meal was tiny. The piece of chicken was small and there was barely any salad. He left hungry and disappointed for how overpriced it was and how dishonest the server was. I had the quinoa burger and I was happy with that choice it was enough food for me (with leftover fries to share), food was flavourful and filling. The server didn 't check on us during the meal and didn 't ask how we liked the food. I would not return here.

The restaurant has a fantastic deck area where you can soak up the sun after a day of skiing. They serve delicious mojitos, and we highly recommend asking for Oscar for great service and recommendations on both food and wine. Everything they serve is fresh and made in-house, even the burger buns. I tried the truffle fries, cheeseburger, and side salad, and all were delicious. The salad dressing had a unique touch of vanilla in a citrus vinaigrette that I really enjoyed. My husband had the curry with chicken and said it was fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning for a third visit.

The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, but nothing caught my eye as a must-try. I ultimately decided on the Kettle Cod Chips, which turned out to be quite delicious. The service was average, and the drink options were decent.
