Bidra med feedbackI went out on a date here. The aesthetics are beautiful. The service is great. The food is delicious. The ambiance is amazing. The lavender margarita is perfect! I look forward to returning to this place.
I have only ever eaten here through Caviar/Doordash so I can't speak to the ambience inside, but five stars for the puerco asado alone. It's so juicy and delicious. I have also tried the chicken before and it was good, though a couple of notches beneath the pork. I would also recommend the empanadas, the plantains, and the pastelillos with guava (sooo good). The place is a tad pricey but at least the portions are generous. I will continue to order from here.
I visited in the spring and it was nice. The food and atmosphere were good at the bar. Decided to go back in October 2023, this time I sat inside the restaurant. Seems that the location and furniture are in need of an upgrade. The service and the food were good, but a bit slow and pricey. In addition, they added a 20% service fee, which caught me by surprise. Plus, it had a tip line too. Service fee, plus tip? This is too much, and the place needs attention. I prefer to tip based on the level of service, and at my discretion. Going to put a pause on visiting the restaurant for a while.
I had the Massita, Yuca Fries and a Happy Hour Mojito. My items were amazing, especially the pork. It was a well balanced dish in terms hitting sweet, spicy, salty balanced with acidity from the picked tomatoes. I didn't finish it and it even ate well as leftovers! I had never had yucca fries but they were good and the green sauce was fresh. The mojito, though, was honestly nothing special.I met up with a friend on a rainy Monday evening and the place was rather quiet. We had a seat at the bar and found the bartender who took care of us to be personable and attentive.
Stopped in on a Friday night for cocktails and found two seats at the bar. I liked that the seats were spaced out so we went right in top of other patrons. Our server was friendly and promptly gave us menus and took our order. We each had two drinks, I had the lavender margarita which was semi sweet though didn't taste too much of lavender. My second drink was a frozen daiquiri and our server told me I could mix flavors, so I got to try watermelon and pina colada. It was sweet, but I really like them. Would definitely try these again. I had a sip of my husband's manhattan and thought it tasted great. I also tried his saoco and it was too sweet for me.Next time I visit, I'll definitely try the food because all the dishes that came out of the kitchen were mouthwatering!
