Love this place it's ambience and service. Been going here for 10 plus years and I've never been disappointed. A lovely mom and pop Sub shop.

The food is consistently fresh, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The owners, Russ and Sara, are among the nicest people you'll ever encounter. They truly go above and beyond to meet your needs. I've been dining here since it opened, often visiting two or three times a week. There's a great variety on the menu, and I absolutely love their chili! I find it much better than Subway, though I do enjoy Subway as well. I just prefer 517 overall. Give it a chance!

The sandwiches here are delicious, and the bread is fantastic. Being a local establishment, it truly feels like part of the community. The staff are friendly and make an effort to connect with customers. For instance, the woman who made my sandwich even asked about my daughter, who usually joins me. I've never had a bad experience with their sandwiches, and the place is very clean. However, I wouldn't recommend visiting if you're in a rush, as they prepare one sandwich at a time, and there are always other customers there. Overall, it's a charming sandwich shop—nothing overly fancy, but consistently good.

We tried the 6-inch club and a 6-inch tuna sandwich, and they were the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The moment you walk through the door, the enticing aroma of sandwiches fills the air, instantly transporting me back to my childhood and the joy of getting subs with my mother. The bread is outstanding, and the freshly sliced deli meats are the perfect finishing touch. We will definitely return for more!
