Breakfast!! Skittles, bread pudding pancakes, biscuits and gravy

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in years. Brisket and gravy plus an order of the bread pudding pancakes. This will be my go to spot for special breakfasts from here on out. Highly recommended!

A+ first experience today. The bottomless coffee is incredible and so was my chorizo and eggs brunch. They take COVID safety very seriously which I appreciate. My server was friendly and some regulars were in to see her. I can understand why they come back and I will too.

It’s okay. Just a step above diner food in terms of creativity and preparation, the popular and dependable yet sometimes lacking breakfast spot features a small range of takes on diner classics such as skillets (called hashes here) and biscuits and gravy. Freshness is the name of their game and it shows, often, if not always sourcing from local famers. Staff was mediocrely nice- I got the vibe they had to be there but didn’t want to be. Brisket biscuits and gravy definitely left something to be desired. It was unfortunately very bland and I definitely expected more for the price (portion size was great, expected better flavor). I decided to try their sugar cookies too and they were also bland and dry.
