My all-time favorite spot in Shreveport. Been coming here regularly for the two years I've lived out here, and words never do it justice. Food is always made from scratch, and often using ingredients from local sources, so every meal is fresh and flavorful. Their regular menu is mildly specialized, so while the menu isn't large, it makes up for with every option being high quality and delicious; I have never had a bad meal here. Their hamburgers on Wednesdays are always incredible and definitely worth the visit for a mid-week pick-me-up! And whenever they do ramen, its a must-try!! Service is always great; quick, kind, and friendly every single time. The bartenders deserve a bonus shoutout for always being fun and friendly to interact with!! If you haven't given this place a try, you are seriously missing out. They also host a slough of talented local musicians towards the weekend, so live music adds some extra fun!
This place is bomb. Best restaurant in town. Best restaurant for miles and miles. Chicken poblano would be my last meal on death row.
Ki’ Mexico is an amazing establishment and has one of the best environments in Shreveport. My experience tonight was by far the worst experience I’ve had in a few years. Order and picked it up in a timely fashion. The young lady by the name Naomi took my order over the phone. When picking my order up, I trusted that it would be correct. They have never dropped the ball, but when I made it home, my order was totally incorrect. When calling back to ki’Mexico to notify them my order was incorrect. A young lady answered the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me to hold on, but did not mute the phone. The young lady, that I am about 99% sure (Naomi) Used all kind of insulting words, accuse me of wanting free food etc. Naomi, came back to the phone and verified she was the one that took the order. I politely told her that I would like to speak to the manager. She gave me a hard time but finally got the manager involved. I expressed to the manager how upset I was about the insults and the language that was used towards me and on top of the wrong order. I got back into my vehicle and drove from Crosslake back to Ki’ Mexico to return the food. The owner and manager expressed their apologies deeply, and I do appreciate that. The owner and manager have Done a great job running this establishment and I hope in the future they are more selective about who they hire and how their employees treat their customers.
