Hero Haven and More - Shirley

The person who takes your order also makes the pizza, so you might find yourself waiting around to order while they are busy making pizzas. Unfortunately, the pizza is overpriced and tastes terrible. I recommend going to Joe's or Los Amigos Pizza instead.

I ordered an American sandwich with extra turkey instead of roast beef. I was overcharged for my meal and the portion size was smaller than expected. The sub had more ham than any other ingredient. When I called to address the issue, I was told that everything was portioned correctly and that I was wrong.

Rob and the crew at Hero Haven are awesome, they've catered my Christmas Eve party two years in row and the food and service were excellent both times. Pizza, Heros, Mac and Cheese, Potato Salad, Mac Salad, Chicken Fingers, all dynamite. My guests left full and happy, thanks Rob and crew!

Overpriced. Compared two other Italian catering places in the area that are cheaper than hero haven and that have better food. They gave us chicken tenders instead of boneless chicken wings and they said that’s their chicken wings when we called to complain. They charged me for full trays when I ordered half trays. We used to go here all the time and the food was good and the owner was nice. I never see him anymore and there’s nobody ever in there anymore. Looks like the place lost a lot of business. Sooo understaffed. It’s no wonder they have gone so downhill Never going back.

I called to place an order for delivery and the woman who answered the phone was so rude from the start no reason. Then when the pizza arrived it looked like it was 3 days old. Don’t order from here.
