Anejo Cantina Grill - Sherman Oaks

The service was very slow after we sat down. There were only 3 other tables on the patio other then us and all parties of 3-4. It took 30 minutes for a server to notice us and ask our drinks. Then they brought chips and salsa. Chips was nothing special but salsa was good but have had better. We all had classic margaritas and Sangrias which were yummy! We ordered Ceviche and Carne asada fries. For the Ceviche, I actually make better it better. Sorry. The Carne asada fries were huge!! Lots of meat and flavor. We all liked it a lot!! We decided to eat tacos cause we were already stuffed. We really enjoyed the tacos. They stuffed it with lots of steak. Rice and beans were good too. We will return again.

Salmon was over cooked. Very loud to the point that it was no fun to try and converse.

Birthday. We sit out but heaters were not working and it was cold.

Gathered here for my birthday. Food was delicious, service was courteous and attentive. Will definitely come back!

So disappointed in my visit. The Margaritas were the worst I’ve had in Los Angeles. Premade with no tequila and awful. We had to order extra shots. A very expensive meal for 4. Nice ambiance but even the food was marginal.
