We go almost every Saturday morning and love it! The staff is always friendly and makes us as top priority, regardless of how busy they are. The food is your hands down when you cook home! My personal favorite is her severity; it takes me back to my childhood and with breakfast with my grandma.
Nice food and friendly service. We were there at 1:00. We drove through this restaurant, noticed the parking lot was full, turned around to try it out. So glad we did. You have menu sandwiches etc. We chose the cafeteria style buffet/bar. Choices contain pork lace, fried chicken, baked steak or chicken (not sure which) with engraving. We had the tenderest pigtail I've ever had. I have buttered red potatoes and cabbage casrole and maize bread muffin. My friend had tomato cake, red potatoes and a role with her pig's stall. Butter, jelly on the table. Pintos were also available. I think an option was a meat and 2 vegs and bread for $8.50 and you make your choice and someone serves you. Servings are great so we have to go boxes. They are open until 2:00. Would you like to go back to breakfast, but live an hour and half a distance. Will definitely be on my next trip to Shelby NC.
What a find! Modest, country abode with ample room for the crowds...and they do get a crowd. Super friendly, attentive and efficient. Wide selection of options. Pancakes, omelets available in variety to suit your tastes plus great lunch options.
