Delicatesse - Shelburne Falls

This restaurant serves the best bagels in town. After trying all the options in the valley, this place stands out as the clear winner. I also discovered that they offer bulk bagel orders, which is convenient. Not only are their menu items delicious, but they also have a variety of daily specials. Despite their small kitchen, the quality of the food always impresses us whenever we order from here.

I am a native of Long Island who now lives in Queens, and I have eaten a lot of salmon in my life. The homemade lox at Delicatesse is the best I have ever had in Western Massachusetts. If you're lucky enough for the owner/cook's neighbor to share some chicken livers from their chickens, be sure to order the chopped liver. While I usually stick to the bagel and lox, I have sampled many dishes my spouse ordered and they were all excellent, especially the daily specials.
