If you're into climbing and drinking, The Union is the place for you. They have a great selection of beer and a welcoming environment with friendly locals. Plus, you may even spot some renowned climbers hanging out here regularly. I won't disclose any names, as you might see people asking for autographs, but if you join the crowd, you'll soon find out. I'm not sure if they offer food, but their beer is reasonably priced and I especially enjoy their Tetleys hand drawn.

This is a wonderful traditional pub where even your furry friend is welcome. You'll often find the landlord's dog snoozing by the fireplace. They offer a variety of beers, including real ales, and have a small outdoor seating area for warmer nights. They serve food during lunch on weekdays, although I have yet to try it myself. The pub closes after lunch like the old-fashioned pubs of the past, but reopens around 5pm. I look forward to timing my visit just right to experience everything this charming establishment has to offer.

I visited this restaurant for lunch a few weeks ago. Despite being very busy and running low on food, the staff was incredibly friendly. It's always a positive sign when the team appears calm, even in a bustling cafe. The toasties and coffees were excellent, and we can't wait to return soon.
