Indian Chef - Sheffield

Booked last minute online. It was busy as NYE. Bring your own drinks. Great menu. The food was delicious. And lovely service. Was a little cold but it’s a small place and the door kept being opened. It is December so we were dressed appropriately so it was ok.

Shocking service did not get what I ordered and was not properly treated when I raised the issue. Just Eat we’re no help either. Food was okay but will never use either the restaurant or the delivery company again.

Really nice, authentic, fresh Indian food located in Crookes, Sheffield. Decent price too for the portion sizes. Can bring your own alcohol but they serve soft drinks anyway. Would definitely go again.

Not only was the food served nearly an hour after we arrived without any apology, warning or explanation for the delay when asked, a waiter said ‘your food will be here in a few minutes’ 15 minutes before anything appeared but at the end of the meal I was asked to STEP OUTSIDE by the manager so that he could complain about my complaint! He was ‘disgusted’, he said, that I had not complained politely and that others in the restaurant might have overheard. This is Private Eye Funny Old World material and was a first for me so I thought it worth sharing. The food was actually quite nice when it eventually arrived but don’t go there if you’re hungry and need to eat soon.
