Wonderful experience each time I have dined at George’s

Sadly disappointing. The food was average instead of special. The French onion soup was not good at all. I am happy to pay top price for top food. But the staff was great!

I have eaten at George's many times over the years and my experiences over the holidays have prompted me to do a review. George's is one of the few fine dining restaurants in the Shoals and I always consider it a treat to dine at George's. The service, atmosphere and food are always up to a high standard! For appetizers, I would highly recommend the sauteed crab claws! They are buttery and delicious! I also love the seared Ahi Tuna and Greek Meatballs. I absolutely love their French onion soup and the Greek Salad (no anchovies for me. The George's Special Ribeye's is one of my favorites and I also also love the Double Delight- 5 oz. filet and 5 oz. of salmon. They cook over a wood burning grill and it is creates the best flavor! I also love the grilled shrimp and grilled pork chops. Definitely get the Creme Brulé for desert!!

Perfect atmosphere for a date night and the food never disappoints! The staff is amazing and the cook's have to be some of the best in town!

This restaurant is an excellent choice for a steak dinner on a date night. I highly recommend making a reservation. The atmosphere is upscale, so dress accordingly. The filet mignon is exceptional, and each meal comes with a choice of soup or salad and a side dish.
