Our first dinner at Gouverneur Stumpy's was a pleasant experience. We were greeted by at least 4 employees who were all very friendly. Our waiter went through the menu with us and provided helpful recommendations. I ordered the cheese pizza in St. Louis style, which was good but not exactly what I expected. The crust was thin and crispy, but I was hoping for provel cheese and square cuts. The salad was also tasty. I am excited to return and try the Waldo Cheese Pommes, as they are at the top of my list. When we left, multiple employees thanked us for dining with them. The exceptional customer service made our visit even more enjoyable.

A local favorite. Solid food, good service, cold beers. A welcoming greeting is given freely upon wntey. Ownership is present and it shows. This place doesn't need a review on Google, just ask anyone in the neighborhood and they will recommend it. You always feel like a regular.

Very friendly staff. Good portions for the price. Restrooms small but very clean. Meal came out fast. We had Derrick as our sever and he was great.

The service at this restaurant is excellent! The manager promptly replaced our drinks when we didn't like them, and multiple servers checked on us during dinner. The manager even helped the servers on the floor and they were all very kind to my child. While the food was average, everything was very healthy. Overall, I believe that the exceptional service made the experience well worth it.
