La Campagnola - Shamong

We arrived 15 minutes early for dinner. We were seated next to the bar area and entry way. The bar area was very loud and noisy when the band played the area got noisier. Several people came in without reservations and were seated upstairs away from noise of the bar area. Several people waiting in the entry area were leaning over our table booth seat. The food was fair after the waitress brought the main course we did not see her until we were finished eating, I paid and left. Quote the Raven Never More!

I loved the music and the food was delicious! Waitress was nice and pleasant.

All our food was good but for the Chicken Marsala...it was way too sweet.

My wife and I ate dinner on Oct 16th as it was our wedding anniversary. My wife ordered the 10 oz Queen Cut prime rib and I ordered the duck. I had entrée envy . A perfectly cooked medium rare piece of beef. I 'm not a prime rib fan, but it was delicious. The duck was tender and flavorful. Alexis was our server and was very attentive.

Excellent beef barley soup. The sauce on the breast of duck was the best I ever tasted. This restaurant has a very complete and varied wine list. This is the place to celebrate a special occasion.
