Chili's Grill - Seymour

I am sure I would have had a good enough meal and good service. However, a young man met me at the door and said “just so you know it will be 30 mins before you get any service”. I told him I can sit at the bar and he said “it “don’t” matter because our kitchen is behind. We won’t even take your order for 30 minutes”. He said “it’s a kitchen issue”. No additional explanation and they surely weren’t full. Not sure what happened. Just in the area for work. I opted to go to another spot. This was at 7:15pm on a Wednesday. Just my .02.

We had the steak street corn and asparagus. Was a good meal and one had the chicken strip meal. Good portions. Steak so tender. It was pricey but everything is. May have been our choice of sides cause we all chose waters for our drinks. We would all go again.

We visited the restaurant tonight around 5:10 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. I was immediately put off by the state of the floors; they were dirty and clearly hadn't been mopped. Even if the mess had just occurred, someone should have cleaned it up, especially since they weren't very busy at the time. I brought this to the attention of the greeter, but she dismissed my concern. I ordered the Cajun Pasta, and it arrived barely warm. I'm now regretting my decision to stay, and I certainly won't be returning.

We were seated immediately in the bar area. We mentioned to our waiter that we were on a lunch break, and they ensured our food was served promptly. Everything tasted fantastic!

The food was enjoyable, but it took a while for someone to come and seat us. The waitress was friendly and did an excellent job.
