Bidra med feedbackThis is up there as one of the absolutely best meal times I had in Korea. since my first visit last year I have returned several times to eden. they serve five types of greens that they add to their rice and top with sesame oil and homemade chili paste. as if that were not delicious enough, the meal also comes with a tofu mushroom soup, which is absolutely amazing. with the two sides that are vegan, this is quite the meal, but to climb it even more, order the root veggie jeon. it's so good! the manager/owner knows which items are vegan, and the menu is partly in English, so I didn't have too much effort to order. the pictures help! eden is located on the building of the lotte castle arcade near the exit 5 of the yeouido station. it is on b1 and easiest to find when taking the back escalator down. naver says pause is from 3-5, but if no one is there, they will close for break at 2, so it is best if they are looking for a late lunch.
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Ordnete 송이, consisting of different banana, rice and a mushroom pine soup. In addition, the pancake ordered 더덕 Next, which was delicious. Not sure if everything is completely vegan, vegetarian, although it was stated at the beginning. Overall, the meal was delicious, it was a little expensive, though.
I loved it. So delicious. I loved everything I had. The whole taste was correct and harmonized. There are 2-3 vegan menus not because it is trendy, but because it is traditional vegan itself. Some of the menus can also be veganized, so feel free to ask.
Take the elevator one floor down to find them. Seems popular with locals. They don’t understand English so it’s a challenge to find out what is vegan. They are very helpful so in the end you will get there. We were being helped by other Korean customers who spoke English. As far as I know one vegan dish (the ‘pancake’ in the middle of the photo) although the bibimbap must be possible to order vegan as well. As far as vegan food goes not special enough to travel distances. Updated from previous review on 2023-04-26
With the help from other reviews, it was easy to find. When we got there we had a communication problem since no one seemed to speak English, so I just showed them pictures from other reviews to order the food and used a translation app to explain we are vegan. When the food arrived we were relieved because all seemed vegan although I cannot be sure. We ate the same thing as already mentioned in other reviews and it was delicious! It is well worth the trip to get there and the staff was friendly too. It is a bit pricey though. We paid 44000 for 2 people eating the stew and one pancake. Overall definitely a must try!
