야래향 - 서귀포시

Located in Seogwipo New Town, this is a fairly old Chinese restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine. The jjajangmyeon and jjamppong are above average, but it's better to avoid rice dishes when dining in. Delivery orders are popular, so if you didn't order jjajang or jjamppong, it might take a while. I went at 12 o'clock for lunch on a weekend and ordered fried rice for three people. Even after half past twelve, our food didn't come out. The food ordered by the customers who came late was served before ours, and when I asked when our fried rice would come out, they said it seemed like the order hadn't been placed yet. It took another 20 minutes until we could finally eat. If I was there alone, I probably would have just left. Mistakes can happen, but I wish they paid more attention to the service.

The restaurant was above average. It is quite famous as a local hotspot. The Samseon seafood jjamppong was a bit spicy, but the seafood was plentiful and there was a generous portion.

The taste of Yaraehyang is amazing.
