Bidra med feedbackWent for dinner with two other people. Entree was a little small. We then shared Himalayan Goat, Chili Chicken and Fish Curry. Were all very nice, as was the rice, raita and naan. Service was good. Okay value for money. We would go back again.
My wife and I had dinner there recently, and the food was very good without being exceptional. We had saffron chicken tikka for entrees and the jaffna goat and eggplant curries for the mains. Prices were quite reasonable, particularly with the Entertainment Card. The service, however, was a let down. I'm not sure if it was a lack of training or just poor attitude, but our waitress gave the feeling that she wanted to be elsewhere. We gave up waiting for the dessert menu and I took a couple from the next table. If nothing else, the restaurant is very convenient to the Odeon Cinema, so we will very likely give it another go.
They've moved from across the road to a larger spot, where they have a bigger menu and the same good, spicy food. Excellent value for this cuisine.
We called during the week - Walked in off the street. It was quiet and comfortable. Service was very friendly and attentive. The curries had a very good spice balance. The chilli level was very light for my taste, but I'm sure they'd boost it a bit if you asked - they provided me with a chilli paste to give a more 'Sri Lankan' feel to the Jaffna Goat Curry.A great and relaxed 'local'
We shared a range of curries - goat, seafood and beef plus some palak paneer, naan, rice and condiments. Couldn't have been happier, the food was delightful and the service friendly and attentive. No hesitation in recommending, especially to those who enjoy an authentic dining experience.
