Coram Diner - Selden

My first time at the Coram Diner and I got the feel of being somewhere in a small country town. Dinners include Soup and salad, main course, veggies, potatoe and dessert (they have Baklava but that's full price). A glass of red or white wine is also included and an appetizer is offered to start....BBQ wings or Spinach Pie. Warm bread in a basket is also served. Everything was really good and they give big portions so lots to take back home for seconds. Jonathan was my waiter so definitely ask for him if you should go. My first choice was broiled Filet of Sole but it was a little over cooked so I ordered it Francaise style and then it was perfect. I had the Strawberry Shortcake, which is one of my favorites, and I loved their version of it. Hard to explain but try it and you'll be pleasantly surprised! Their dinner selection is huge, very reasonably priced, so I'll be back to try something different next time!

Wanted to stay local tonight for dinner. Me and my husband both had dinner specials, which came with an appetizer; he had spinach pie, he didn't care for and I had chicken wings, which were basically boiled with BBQ sauce drizzled on top. It also came with soup, we passed on due to summer heat, who wants hot soup. And also salad, he had Greek, I had Garden, both basic. For dinner, I had the Chicken Aruba, which I've had in other Diners, but this was really excellent!!! My husband had a chicken stir fry, and he added steak. He enjoyed it. Both meals also came with dessert, he ordered apple pie, I ordered a vanilla/chocolate layer cake; we took dessert to go. Layer cake was delicious, very moist and the apple pie was average. Server was pleasant, great service. I would give this rating 3.5 stars if I could.

So I really like this place. The food, service and portion size are great. What I don't like is the older women that I believe is an owner. Nasty lady. Had her undisciplined grandchildren there one evening and chastised me 4 not wanting 2 put up with their obnoxious behavior. Other then that rude lady and her wild grandchildren, I would recommend this place.

Horrible food ever I eat here. Bad quality and me and my girlfriend are sick on the very next day of the dinner.

My favorite place to have a turkey burger deluxe with sweet potato fries for lunch or dinner.
