Doyles Restaurant - Selbyville

Stopped on the way to Virginia tidewater area. Good food, service right on the highway. Fair price too...

Not a bad place physically. The wait staff was sweet and got us anything we needed when we needed it. The food was not the best. I got chicken and dumplings it was very salty. I got a side salad (if you want to call it a salad) it had one ring of onion, about six lettuce leaves, a slice of tomato and a few croutons. I tried someones Chicken Livers and they were INCREDIBLY salty. Grilled chicken salad, the chicken was dry. A club sandwich was also very dry. Chicken Alfredo wasn't bad, but over priced. And Just a little bland. The cheese steak didn't look bad but I didn't try it.

A selbyville icon. Food and service were, as always perfectly comforting. Been there before and will go there again.
