High Park Fish Chips - Sefton

Popped in for chicken fried rice, chips and curry sauce. The chips were reheated overdone and tasted of grease! Even the curry sauce didn’t help! As for the chicken fried rice, awful, the rice was poor, a few little bits of chicken, no taste at all, won’t be going back there again!

Use this place a lot . Wanton normally nice treat this time like licking pure salt im so disappointed its not cheap

I have visited this restaurant several times as it is my local spot, but unfortunately, I have been mostly disappointed. Hoping for a better experience, I ordered a Chinese meal tonight, but it was a letdown. The soup was thick like glue, the noodles lacked vegetables, and the prawn toast was chewy and stale. The only decent item was the boiled rice. I will not be returning in the future, as it was a waste of money. In fact, I ended up making a ham sandwich after throwing away my meal.

We are regular customers at this restaurant, and our recent experience has been disappointing. We spent 40 minutes trying to order through Just Eat, only to have to call the restaurant directly after payment issues. Despite providing our address multiple times, we were informed that our order would arrive in an hour. When we called after an hour, we were told the food was on its way. However, the driver ended up at the wrong address and we had to meet them at the correct location. By the time we received the food, it was cold and required reheating. To add to the frustration, the starters we ordered were all empty. When we complained about the temperature of the food, we were dismissed and accused of lying. This experience has left us feeling disappointed and we will not be returning.

Ordered two fish dinners for Just Eat delivery. Fish was ok although very greasy. The remainder consisted of a box with a layer of underdone but very soggy chips followed by a layer of gravy and a layer of mushy peas all squeezed together into an unappetising soggy block. Not recommended!!
