Weid - Seelisberg

Eine wunderbare Entdeckung! Das Restaurant bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an hausgemachten Speisen. Der Empfang war herzlich und die Besitzerin sowie ihre Nichte sprechen sogar Französisch! Der Ausblick ist herrlich.

In the heart of Switzerland, less than three kilometres from the Rütli, we were very disappointed with Swiss hospitality.Time seems to stand still, as it says on the blackboard. Unfortunately, this also applies to the service. The two ladies seemed overwhelmed. Anyway, it took half an hour for two salad plates although we were the only two eating guests! And last but not least, there were very measly portions compared to the price paid. What a pity, such a beautiful place with a wonderful view.

Wenn man das kleine Haus betritt, fühlt man sich wie in einem Wohnzimmer! Die sehr nette Gastgeberin und ihr Ehemann bereiten alles liebevoll von Hand zu. Neben den Speisen und Getränken gibt es auch eine Auswahl an köstlichen Kuchen und anscheinend auch eine Möglichkeit zur Übernachtung. Die Fahrt mit der Selbstbedienungsgondel ist ebenfalls super und sollte unbedingt ausprobiert werden.
