Bidra med feedbackThis is my favorite place for gluten-free homemade cake and quiche. The owner is lovely and the food is absolutely delicious. They recently added a coffee and Baileys cake to the menu, and it is fantastic.
My family and I visited Piggys in Bridgwater on Wednesday, December 20th for lunch before attending a pantomime at McMillan Theatre. We all ordered quiche and salad, but found that there was an excessive amount of salad leaves. I was pleased to see that they offered almond milk for my hot drink. The cakes also looked delicious. We will definitely be returning soon.
After traveling to various countries and dining at top restaurants, I can confidently say that Piggy's has served me the most delicious food I have ever tasted. The dishes were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and offered great value for the price. Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on dining at Piggy's!
I've walked by Piggy's in Bridgwater so many times and decided to pop in yesterday for an afternoon cuppa. I sat upstairs on one if the sofas by the window and ordered a pot if tea with skimmed milk on the side plus a slice of Victoria sponge. Very pleased to hear skimmed milk available when so often it's only semi skimmed available. The lady who served me was very friendly and welcoming. Service was at a good pace and the establishment was clean and well laid out. I didn't visit the toilet so cannot comment on this. Portion size of the cake was very generous and nicely presented with sliced strawberry and strawberru syrup. The Victoria sponge cake tasted really nice and I enjoyed my pot of tea. I was pleased to have a little Biscoffi bic on the side of my cup. Price for a pot of tea and cake was just over £6 which I considered very reasonable. My only quibble would be the radio playing upstairs was a little loud for my liking. Maybe just personal preference but I'd rather it was a little more muted. I'd certainly not knock off a star for this though and I will return to Piggy's at some point soon. 5/5 review from me.
A lovely sandwich bar that my family stumbled across whilst visiting Bridgwater. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the cafe is clean, spacious with lots of seating and it’s dog friendly! The food was excellent, presented lovely and tasted amazing. Lots of lovely homemade cakes quiches. Great value for money with brilliant service from start to finish. Highly recommend a visit!
