The egg benedict here is incredibly unique and delicious! The jam is fabulous, and the addition of mozzarella is such a surprising twist. I absolutely love everything about it!

I visited for Sunday brunch at 1:30 PM and ordered the avocado toast with vegan sausage instead of an egg. It was really delicious! The staff was friendly as well.

For our main dish, we chose the Caprese Benedict. I usually avoid Benedicts since they often end up lukewarm with improperly poached eggs, but the Caprese version sounded delicious, given that Caprese salads are so flavorful. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The menu mentioned fresh mozzarella, basil, spinach, tomato jam, Hollandaise sauce, challah bread, and potatoes. However, there was no basil on the plate, and the tomato jam tasted more like sweet strawberry jam, which was out of place. The challah bread was also quite sweet and too soft to hold the dish together. Overall, it just didn’t work for me. Additionally, the dish was bland, and some of the proteins were still a bit undercooked, which was my worst fear. The only decent part were the potatoes, which were like thick fries (again, still bland). The most disappointing aspect was the missing basil; it made the dish feel misleading. It looked nice, but given its taste profile, it was ridiculously overpriced at $21. Regarding service, our server was very friendly, but we didn’t receive any utensils until our food arrived. After we finished, the servers were chatting at the end of the bar, which seemed to reflect a relaxed employee culture. While I personally don’t mind that, we waited about ten minutes to get our plates cleared and to settle the bill. It would be nice if they prioritized guests first before taking a break. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I understand the importance of balance. In total, our bill came to $36 for the drink and the dish (excluding tip). Overall, the atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly, and the dish had potential, but the service could have been more attentive, and the food didn’t quite meet expectations. Perhaps we’ll try a different dish next time.

Great little brunch place! We had the Mimosa Kit **** Mary (which they accommodated for us vegan). The Scones are handmade and absolutely delicious and the breakfast plate was fresh and delicious. We have sampled the biscuits and gravy and agitated eggs as southeast Easter, we were pleasantly surprised how good the cookies were! The price was reasonable and the environment super hip.

We ordered the chicken and waffles and my friend got the eggs with potatoes. I chose this spot because of the reviews and the potatoes looked amazing! I found them disappointing. They weren't seasoned or cooked as much as the ones in the reviews (maybe an off day). The chicken and waffles came with the syrup on top and it made the waffles soggy. My favorite part of waffles is the crunch so it also fell flat for me. The chicken was breaded and fried well and was tasty.
