My go-to place on the ave for pho and bahn mis. Fantastic food, fantastic place.

Delicious food, some of the best service I’ve ever had. Attentive but not intrusive. Super tasty Bahn Mi as well. Very fairly priced.

This place rocks! I hadn't been in since the menu was redesigned, so I was unsure if I could still get my favorite (the menu numbers are all/mostly different . But yup, it's still available.The counter service is quick and friendly. They got my order correct (I get a few things removed from the item I order . And I got an ample amount of it, all of which tasted great and was decently priced. I still miss eating at the long gone Ballet in Capitol Hill, but this is a good replacement.(One minor thing: the sodium level in the curry seemed a little too high, not sure if that's typical or was a one off.

There's plenty of pho in the U-District to the point of gluttony. Given the saturated market, it takes a lot for a location to stand out, and this place did not do it for me. I had their brisket pho, and while delicious, it wasn't my favorite on the ave. I will be returning, but with tempered expectations. Service is kind and prompt, but the inside temperature can be kind of stuffy as the ventilation is poor.
