Bidra med feedbackLove this place, order first and then get a table, as they say trust the process!Got waterfront view and the it’s really crowded! Servers will call out your name to look for you, very American movie vibes. Seafood chowder is perfect, creamy yet not greasy, and chicken quesadilla is highly recommended too!Unexpected great taste! And servers are very friendly too!
They forgot to add a order and had to wait yet another 15 minutes and everyone else was done eating. Its sorta pricey for the food they provide. food was ok not amazing very bland wouldnt come back again.view was great though! Service was good too, they picked up dishes right away.*I got the triple double order(Eggs, bacon, and 2 pancakes)
We love this restaurant‘a location with views! Sitting by the window with famous clam chowder in bread bowl, topped with house Angus burger and beer! All dishes were delicious, the chowder with sourdough bread was very filling that you wouldn’t have room for anything best to share if that’s an option. Warning seating is tricky self service/first come first served and there is always so many people waiting to grab a table. Plan to be patient if you really want the table by the windows.
We stopped in at Sound View Cafe while we were at Pike Place Market in Seattle on a beautiful, clear Spring day. We read reviews on what was good nearby and decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We got a table by the window to enjoy views of Puget Sound while we shared a burger fries and a beer. We decided that everything in Seattle is pricey, especially in the popular tourist areas, so we prepared to pay up but share the items. Service was speedy and friendly, and the views around downtown Seattle on a nice day are spectacular. The burger and fries were good, and the local draft beer was pretty good too. Would we do it again? Probably, if we didn’t want to try something new nearby. I would recommend Sound View Cafe for a quick bite and a nice atmosphere to get a flavor of Pike Place Market in Seattle.
Busy place in Pike Market. I would have avoided it due to its obvious tourist trap potential, but a local took me there and the food was indeed very good. I had the blackened salmon fettucine, and while it was heavier than I thought it would be, it was very tasty. However, the kitchen lost the orders of 3 members of our party, which caused a big delay and some annoyance. The atmosphere is pleasant, with picture windows looking out over Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. Not cheap, but the restaurant is in a major tourist attraction in an expensive city.
