Bidra med feedbackI’ve always enjoyed their bagels. My husband typically goes in most of the time. At the old location, everything was clearly labeled. However, when I visited recently, I found it frustrating that there were no signs indicating the different types of bagels or even what cream cheeses and salads were available. I’m not sure if it's just me, but I really don’t like the lack of clear labeling. Otherwise, I’d almost give it 5 stars!
The bagels and other offerings are quite good, but this place seems to be falling off. The staff behind the counter often struggle with taking orders, leading to consistent mistakes; I can honestly say that every order we've placed has been incorrect. You can give it a shot or skip it entirely—there's really not much to lose.
I ordered a dark sesame bagel and wanted everything on it, but I ended up with a whole wheat bagel instead. You can barely see any sesame seeds on it—it's like counting them one by one! I sincerely hope a great bagel shop opens nearby soon.
There's no better way to start your morning than frowns, attitudes and slow service from Calvert Manor Bagels! I've had better experiences in the DMV! Listen as a Long Island born and raised man, Dave C. has expertise in a handful of things and those are bagels, pizza, the opiate crisis and traffic. Nothing gets my day started right like a sore jaw from some not completely stale but certainly not fresh bagels. I'm no eagles fan, but Philly certainly smokes this place in the cream cheese department. In the highly volatile and competitive Long Island Bagel industry, this place is dropping faster than Aaron Rodgers on Monday night football. I one time wrote and illustrated a children's book in my wait on line. 2 stars because I'm a gentleman.
Be prepared to stand in line but it moves fast.GREAT BAGELS
