The Rooster Tavern - Scottsdale

The fish frit was delicious. I probably won't order the Brezel bites again. They're more like chips. They were hard and not so great. It's bar food and the atmosphere was loud.

I already had a good feeling about this restaurant, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the three meatballs and an orange blossom cocktail. The ambiance was lovely, and the music had an alternative rock vibe that I really enjoyed. The bartender was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. The food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. My husband tried the green chile pig, and he found the meat to be moist and tender. He mentioned it was fantastic as well.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy sports, music, and good company. The food is exceptional, and I highly recommend asking to sit in Seana's section when you go. She is incredibly attentive, always remembers your drink and food orders, and has a warm, personal touch. Her service truly enhances the experience every time!

We sat outside and chatted with a local who shared some stories with us. We both talked about our wild biking accidents. My husband ordered the meatloaf, which was a massive portion—he’s still eating leftovers from that meal! I had wings and a salad, and I still have half an order of wings to take home.

My roomie saw this place and we decided to check it out. We were able to get a table when we arrived and ordered two appetizers, chicken wings 2 ways and the Poutine (short ribs over French fries for two) with Boursin cheese melted on top. I had the Boursin burger with fries and my guest had the cheesesteak and fries. Our server was stellar, pleasant, capable and kind, she was just great. Our food was served quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. So, the wings are supposed to be baked and then grilled presumably for some crisp. They weren't grilled at all and were soft to bite into. The dry rub and sauced ones tasted good but had no crisp to it at all. I would've guess they were boiled and sauced and sent out...They didn't have any skin on them either. The Poutine was short on the short rib in our order, but what was there was tasty. My burger was very well done (not what I wanted) and the bun wasn't toasted, at all, it was soggy. Bacon was barely cooked, lacked crisp as well. The burger tasted ok but the bun fell apart. My friends cheesesteak was smallish but tasty. His bun was toasted. We each had a beer. We'll probably give it another try to see if they can cook the burger correctly and hopefully the food will have some crisp to it ... The restaurant was very dark inside (I had to turn on the flashlight on my phone to read the menu) and it was quite loud as well. I wanted to love this place and left just liking it. The server was the best part of the experience.
