Houston's Scottsdale

I recently had my first experience at Houston's and it was fantastic! The service was top-notch, the food was delicious, and overall it was a wonderful dining experience. Even though there was a wait (which is expected on a Saturday night), sitting at the bar was just as enjoyable with great service. I highly recommend Houston's for a nice night out.

The food was tasty, but it was quite busy during lunchtime. I was underwhelmed by the bar and drink options - they were very basic for the price. The lunch menu was limited and on the small side. The service was just okay, as our water wasn't refilled once during the almost 2 hours we were there. The burger was dry. The staff taking orders were not wearing masks, while the staff serving the food were.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I had a great experience! We were seated on the back deck by the fire while we waited for our table and enjoyed an appetizer and some drinks. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious. We ordered grilled chicken salad, chicken thighs and sausage, Hawaiian marinade rib eye, and Scottish salmon, all of which were excellent. The pomme puree was outstanding and I was particularly impressed with the Hawaiian marinade - the subtle taste was just right. For dessert, we had the brownie and sundae; the ice cream and fudge were amazing, but the brownie was a bit too nutty and dry for my liking. The addition of dried cherries in the brownie was a turn-off for me, but overall, everything else was delicious.

I order the Tuna Burger it was 90% Bread and the Tuna was not fresh. Not at all what I would expecet at Houston's/

The bomb! Can't complain, always a great experience. Prime Rib, fish sandwich, hawaiian rib eye, Thai steak salad ftw.
