Burger King - Scotts Valley

I went to the drive-thru and told them I only had $7 in my account and asked how much a Whopper Jr and a Sprite would cost. They said $7.66, but I realized I had less in my account. When I got to the window, I told them I could only afford the Sprite. The female manager then charged me only $7, which I appreciated. However, when I checked my account later, I saw a $35 overdraft fee because she had actually charged me $7.66 despite me informing her I didn't have enough funds. I called the store and spoke to her, but she claimed she couldn't refund me. I was disappointed and felt deceived, especially since the male manager would have understood my situation better. Very frustrating experience!

Be sure to double check your takeout order. They may have mistakenly left off items, such as the large fry I had to go back for. Also, pay attention to any discrepancies with the receipt.
