Richard Walker's Pancake House

Great breakfast. Had the apple pancake, and it was delicious. The server was good, and the manager stopped by the table to make sure everything was ok. Very nice. We will definitely be backFood: 5/5

I live close by so ate here quite often. Nate was the manager but he recently left and he was great. The ladies now aren't the friendliest and seem to hate their job. So....if you are the owner and see this, have a talk with them. Mean old ladies!!

This place is like an old diner. I arrived around 10 am on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy, but there was no wait. The service was good considering how busy it was. They were very nice. However, I would have appreciated the staff checking on me after my food arrived because I noticed my water cup was dirty. I had to call out to an employee to switch it out. The food was great, and arrived pretty quickly. I think the pricing was decent. It'd be 5 stars if my booth was a little cleaner. The table was sticky, and the seat had a bunch of dirt and crayons in the corner. Also, the parking lot had plenty of parking, but the clientele drove poorly. I was nearly hit by someone who cut through the parking lot. I guess he was really excited to eat breakfast. Overall, it was a good spot. I'd return and recommend it to others.

Went here with my girlfriend for a late breakfast a couple Sundays ago. Food was good (Pancakes were absolutely incredible), and portions were hearty.Unfortunately we had to wait around an hour and a half from the time we put down our names, but to be fair, this was around noon on a Sunday. What most likely made the wait worse though, was that the front of house (seating, taking names, answering front phone) all was being done by a single girl, who seemed very panicked.

Met my daughter here for late breakfast. Feels like you stepped into the past about 30-40 years. Old school looking breakfast place, everything had been there since Grandma was knitting socks. We all order our breakfast, they got all the good stuff, corned beef hash, omelettes, bacon all plenty big and delicious. However my kid goes and we 'll share the German pancake . I 've never had a German pancake so I said sure. It comes out several minutes after our plates and I 'll tell you what, this thing was huge. See the picture. We started adding the powdered sugar, syrup, butter and ripping off piece by piece. Heaven my friends. Like french toast married a pancake and they had a huge baby. Outstanding and worth it. Great job!! I was so inspired I made it when I got back home to Phoenix.
