Bidra med feedbackWhether in a pinch for dinner or a premediated shop for a weeks' worth of meals this place is the best! My children, now young adults say that Ruffled Feather (RF) chicken fingers set the benchmark that all chicken tenders are measured by, and all others fall short. Their rotisserie chicken is always great, but to me the thing that separates RF from other similar places are the side dishes. The potatoes and other vegetable dishes are always fresh and perfectly seasoned and depending on the season the menu is often updated. Cold salads are always great offering wonderful portion control, and their soups are next level. They also make wonderful ribs and have catered our family’s holiday functions many times over the years, but you must get your orders in early.
I love this neighborhood place. I've had their baked chicken and duck and I often come back for seconds. Whenever I don't feel the urge to cook, I stop by for delicious home made meals and heat them up at home .
Just picked up a Turkey for thanksgiving. The weight was 7 1/2 lbs. cooked. I know that a Turkey loses about 25% of its weight when cooked, but this is ridiculous. It's the size of a capon at best!Tried calling but line is automatically busy. Not worth the $100+ I paid for it. Ilene
Very clean. Nicest guys too. Food is home still. Not salty. I recommend the poached salmon muffins and salads. The kasha and pasta salad plus the tuna fish egg salad and quinoa and tortellini. Try the soups and the grilled chicken and Brussels sprouts too. Cauliflower or roasted potatoes. They even have a Passover menu with many vegetarian vegan items.
Have been patronizing this fine establishment for many years. Their rotisserie chicken and turkey are the best in Westchester. George and Ken take pride in their offerings, including their prepared foods, such as Chicken Francese and Marsala, salads, and fresh vegetables which reflect the care and efforts of their staff. This is the go-to spot in Scarsdale for those who choose not to cook, but want a healthy or indulgent lunch or dinner alternative. Don't even get me started on their matzo balls or eggplant parmigiana. Not inexpensive, but well worth it!
