Bidra med feedbackThis is a hard one. A mixed bag. I ordered a special. Bad news: it was truly awful. Good news: waitress quickly replaced it with another dish. So it worked out fine. My companion was happy with his burger and beer. Wait staff there are most typically delightful. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Brought my 83 year old mother here for lunch. She ordered the Blue cheese bacon burger medium . It came out on a bun that was not toasted and burger was medium well. Waitress was awful. I had to go look for her to get our bill. The younger 25ish staff was more professional than our 50 yr old plus waitress...she didn't even know the difference of medium vs medium well. Won't be going here again Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Oh my goodness. The kitchen staff needs to be replaced. The food I was served should not have been sent out. The fish was extremely overcooked. The coleslaw was warm, indicating refrigeration issues. The fries were swimming in oil. It was a very disappointing lunch experience. I will not be returning. I have photos as proof. The average price per person is $1–10. The food rating is 1 out of 5, the service is 2 out of 5, and the atmosphere is 2 out of 5.

I personally experienced a subconscious bias at this restaurant. I stood at the bar for almost 8 minutes without receiving a hello or welcome from the bartender who was right there. After 8 minutes, she finally asked if I had been helped yet, to which I responded no and informed her that I was picking up an order. However, when a Caucasian couple walked in, they were instantly greeted and welcomed. The bartender walked over, grabbed a menu, and helped them sit down. It was clear by the bartender's actions that they were treated differently based on their skin color. It's important to remember that Maine is a growing state with a diverse population, not just white individuals. I encourage the restaurant to make an effort to treat all customers equally, regardless of their skin color. In terms of food, I would rate it a 5, service a 1, and atmosphere a 5.
