Bidra med feedbackTheir twin lobster set package is the most cost efficient from all of the area while keeping the quality of taste. They have a simple, cute, clean outdoor space to enjoy your food. Solid clams, corn, and other sides. That's all we needed!
We stopped here for lunch after reading reviews from the area, and we were not disappointed. We had the lobster roll, clam chowder, and shrimp. Everything was wonderful. Althea at the counter was great and was fantastic with my daughter. My only notes are they don't have high chairs and the hours are a little weird. We tried coming one evening at 5 and the writing on the wall out front said they have closed, which didn't match their hours online. My guess is they close if things are slow!
Super no frills lobster shack but the lobster is a great value. The steam clams are also great. We didn't like the bisque and chowder so much. There isn't really anything else so just the basics and you wont be disappointed.
No Fried food which is not anything negative, just FYI. But is an awesome authentic old fashion side of the road fresh seafood. The walls are lined with pictures that show the heritage of the place. Had the clam chowder, was one of the best tasting I've had! Highly recommended!
We stopped by this place on the way to our hotel, based on its good reviews. I'm a little surprised by the high ratings. At $18, this is one of the cheaper lobster rolls. But theres a reason its only $18. Its small, and theres not a lot of lobster versus other places in Maine. I was stilll fairly hungry after finishing. Wasn't as tasty as the competition either. We also shared a serving of clams, which was fine. Had a bunch of teenagers working there. Service was ok. Although they didn't bring us any silverware (nor water). And then looked over while we were entering the tip (need to pay at the counter at the end). Outdoor seating area facing the road.
