Lakeview Restaurant - Sāvantvādi

Extremely WORST FOOD SERVICE. Even the counter person is HOPELESS. Strongly recomend to not visit.

A friend and I dined at this restaurant last night. Although it was too dark to see the lake, the music, lighting, and overall atmosphere were lovely. We ordered garlic chicken, potato and cheese momos, and chicken fried rice. The food was of great quality but it took a while to be served despite the limited number of guests. I would recommend this place, but not if you're in a hurry. I also think that the traffic during the day may detract from the atmosphere, as it is located right on the main road. Overall, the evening ambiance was fantastic.

We visited the restaurant on June 26th, 2016 at 6:00 pm while on our way from Pune to Goa. We were amazed by the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings of the lake. The atmosphere reminded us of being in Europe. If you happen to be in the area, make sure to stop by and appreciate the beauty of this place.

Situated on the lakeside walk in Sawantwadi (town side), this fantastic vegetarian restaurant is known for its cleanliness and variety of local vegetarian dishes. In the evenings, guests can enjoy outdoor seating and freshly prepared veg "street food" at the outdoor cooking spot. It is also a great spot for a quick cup of coffee or cold drink during the daytime. Highly recommended!

It is nice choice in Sawantwadi to have a veg food. Specially maharashtrian food is served here at reasonable rates. It also serves breakfast and snacks.
