I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is homemade, always served hot and fresh, and the customer service is exceptional. The staff is friendly and will bring your to-go order with a smile. However, I have a suggestion: please, please, PLEASE put an allergy warning on items that contain milk, like your grits! I've been ordering them for the past few weeks and recently began to show signs of an allergic reaction. I was unsure of the cause because I'm very careful about what I eat, but I just called and found out that the grits do contain milk. So, I won't be ordering them anymore. It would be great if you could consider making a separate batch of dairy-free grits for those of us with allergies.

I have a five-hour drive ahead of me, so I decided to stop here for breakfast. I found this place to be quite nice. The food was good; I had a bacon and egg omelette, along with some grits and toast. The service was excellent—Tatiana was a fantastic server. Although the restaurant wasn't too busy, you could tell that many people are regulars here. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. I really enjoyed my visit, and if I'm in the area again, I'll likely stop by here once more.

Meanwhile, my husband received his grits and eggs, but no fish. Why would they serve half of the order like that? I ended up sharing my fish with him so he could at least enjoy his warm grits and eggs—though "warm" is a stretch, as nothing was truly hot. When his fish finally arrived ten minutes later, it was somewhat hot, but we decided to box it up to go. Additionally, we had to ask for drink refills and noticed a general lack of urgency or apologies from the staff. In fact, a whole group of patrons left due to the poor service, and I saw many of them heading to Subway for lunch instead. They’ve also removed everything from the tables, like jelly and hot sauce, so you now have to ask for these items, which takes ages to arrive. To top it off, the place was dirty, with trash on the floors and a messy kitchen area. Overall, we didn’t experience the quick and professional customer service that we used to enjoy here.

Reasonably priced, down to earth and good breakfast food. Decent veggie options, and polite waitresses. No complaints for a quick breakfast. Massive portions, maybe even enough for two.

The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is down-to-earth, and the breakfast food is excellent. There are plenty of decent vegetarian options available, and the waitress was very courteous. I have no complaints for a quick breakfast stop. The portions are huge—enough to serve two people, perhaps!
