Spanky's Pizza Galley Saloon - Savannah

Wow, just the best chicken! A great atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Our first time in Savanna and that was our first meal? the bar up.. so good. I recommend the pecan pie, the perfect way to finish a wonderful meal??

This place was on the landing by the river. It was a bar with restaurant. I have a mushroom appetizer that was excellent and had a lot of taste. But that made me disappoint with my shrimp and fish dish. My food was very pale without taste or season. Even the fries had no taste. I got tartaric acid and cocktail sauce to dip my food. That made the court a little better. We also waited for food for over an hour. The server was beautiful and accommodating. She tried to be helpful.

What an amazing place! We came for pizza, but what impressed us was 1. The service of our waitress Hannah and 2. The Spuds and Chicken fingers! Incredible. The mushrooms and fried shrimp were rocking also! Mac n Cheese was on point! As for the pizza...it was ok. Crust is key for me. This was very average, but the pizza had flavor. We got sausage and it was good.

Our family had a late lunch here and it was great. There are plenty of choices for everyone and the food was tasty. Personal pan pizzas were a great choice so each person could get what they wanted to toppings. The interior was nice and clean. We also had a great waitress.

Welcomed by a hostess with a big smile, bar tender did many different tasks effortlessly and the manager was present and helpful! The menu has many options and we have eaten pizza. 5 stars for staff, 3 for pizza?... is NOT a PIZZA PLACE?
