Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant has a unique location. Bricks and beams exposed in the basement. Something higher. There was a live piano. Our waiter was very human and knowledgeable about the menu. We all enjoyed our dinners, cocktails and dessert. Our food was cooked and brought out very quickly. Although I wouldn't say our favorite restaurant we ate, but it was very good.
We were here last Sunday and Monday evening and had dinner here on Monday night. Our trip was for me and my wife and for a friend of us. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating during our stay, especially if our friend's room had air conditioning. He had to change rooms, but that was not a big deal (he thought there was a little something that would rather have privacy in this room anyway). We chose the 17Hundred90 Inn because of its history of persecution (this is our thing) and we were not disappointed! Nothing too scary or threatening, but definitely some pretty cool events while we were there! Our rooms were clean spacious and very comfortable. What for dinner....all I can say is WOW!!! Our other thing when we travel is good. From all our snacks, lunch and dinner this was the best, well-prepared meal of the whole trip. Best Oysters Rockefeller I had ever... and the special appetizer of the day was Beef Wellington, who lived our Australian friend in England for years, said the best of his life. I also tried her house pineapple on the side below martini. I had to get a second to make sure I was right how good it was! In short, make yourself a favor and book your stay here and make reservations at least once in the restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!!
Our first visit to Savannah, and that was our first stop per recommendation. Unfortunately we waited until two days before our trip to make reservations so that they are not available. Needless to say, we arrived directly when they opened at 5:00 p.m. and had no question whatever is right. The staff is warm and welcoming from the minute you go, and our server Zack was an absolute pleasure. He was friendly, friendly, attentive and even recommended some great places in the area to check. There were live jazz games in the corner of the room that was a really sweet addition to our night out. I have no picture of the crab cakes we started with, but they were really great! The shrimp scampi was the star of the show today. Very well seasoned, bursting with taste of garlic and fresh basil and the shrimp was fresh. Our steak was cooked for perfection and well paired with their homemade potatoes. If I would rate this point a 10 star. We will return absolutely!
Very recommended! Great restaurant in total. food was excellent; the appetizer, main plates, by dessert. The wine selection was very good and complemented the dinner. The best was great service! Seems so often when servers fall a plate on your table and just go away, never seen again. The service was excellent in this restaurant! We were never rushed! The server actually let us finish a cocktail with bread before the appetizer was released. The plates were released only after completing a course, the table was deleted when we both finished a course, and the staff was familiar with the wine! Bizarre looking place from outside. But inside has a decent mood. A slightly darker atmosphere, probably to enchant you and the spirits. A talented piano player accompanies the experience.
Five couples, trip to Savannah for new year’s. Everything was great. We all loved it. 1790 was above excellent. The inn is historic and not like other hotels. It has a real elegant feel. The entire staff was beyond helpful. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We really loved the bar and restaurant. The bartender was friendly and so good. We had dinner two nights. Top notch menu. It was absolutely great.
