Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant in the hotel offers only one menu, you have no other choice! Food was pretty bad, the fish in the sauce was so dry that I couldn't swallow. Service is worse. The waitress forgot our wine, I had to walk after her at the restaurant to remind her. When I asked her ingredients in a dish, she didn't know it, she said she would ask and come back to us, but never came back! The owner and the cook went around and never asked if everything is okay or if we liked the food. Breakfast was much better than dinner and waiter was more professional.
If there were 4 stars, the food was excellent at the 4 nights we went, and they had a good wine selection. But the waiter we had every night for dinner was so bad that we thought he was a parody, he must be the owner son, there is no way this person could hold a real job.
We stayed for two nights at Hostellerie de Sault May 2012. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the staff tried to accommodate us. The cook/patron, which has also developed the entire page, spoke to us and we and our XKs were made most welcome.
This culinary experience was one of the best we had in France on several levels. At first the location was peaceful and beautiful in the garden, it even offered a blanket for those who were cold in the late evening. The food was very creative and delicious and included a fun bush, first and second courses, a cheese course and desert followed by champagne! We also ordered a bottle of wine. I was surprised that the costs could not be more than what we could pay for a 2-3 course dinner with wine at home. The service was friendly and helpful. Our server seemed quite young and was still learning, but was very professional and helpful especially when we asked him if he could translate or describe some of the articles in English when we were unfamiliar. When we finally asked for a taxi back to the city, when we went from the centre of Saul to the restaurant and did not want to go back in the dark, the chef drove us back. This gesture has completely thrown us away!
Perfect meals (6) from beginning to end, a constance in the quality and mix of flavors. a real treat ... the egg with truffle emulsion, and the meats are worked to perfection.
