Boston Pizza - Saugeen Shores

Overall I was surprised and disappointed by our visit in this bp. my wife and I were on the go and were for a night in port elgin. we decided to eat in this bp. it was quite busy for a Tuesday night and immediately we saw that the workers were fighting. I have worked in restaurants, in these cases I am glad to cut something black. the first thing that hit me was how spoiled and dirty the place saw. we sat very fast, but on a dirty table; understandable. but the person who knew the table made it worse by the table dripping wet. we went to the toilet room to get paper towels to wipe our table dry. my wife ordered half ripp and I ordered my fav, jambalaya fattyuccini. our orders arrived in a reasonable time and were correct. while my meal was hot and tasty, the half of my wife's ribs was not hot and the BBQ sauce was tasteless. that was surprising as this is one of the signatures for bp. my appreciation is that this place fights with inexperienced employees and they simply don't have enough personal on the floor that intervenes in the cleaning. While this is the case in the entire restaurant industry, it seemed particularly a problem at this location of the bp. my suggestion is to avoid this bp especially during the busy times.

Today, we hosted a baby shower at Boston Pizza in our office, but unfortunately the experience was not great. The server seemed inexperienced and struggled to read the menu, leading to mistakes with our drink and food orders. The manager had to step in to take over, but most of our food arrived cold or did not come at all. My Caesar salad with grilled chicken was prepared incorrectly, with the kitchen even reusing chicken from another salad, which is a big no-no for someone with a food allergy like myself. The fries I ordered as an appetizer came last and were also cold. The server was not attentive and kept asking us to clean our plates while we were still eating. Overall, our office will not be returning to Boston Pizza after this disappointing experience.

Ordered online for takeout, as was staying at nearby hotel on business. Ordering process was a bit frustrating, but wait for food was quite reasonable. Picked up food, which was ready on time. Arrived back at hotel to find there were no napkins, cutlery or...condiments for the food. How does one actually eat a takeout meal without cutlery? I didn't see an area on the online order form to request cutlery, napkins and condiments, and no one asked if it was required; just frustrating after a long and hectic day. The food was hot, which was nice, and it was as one would expect from Boston Pizza; not freshly prepared food, but reheated prepared food. The cost was over $22 for a dinner entree, which is pretty expensive for what it was. I've never been a big BP fan, and although this location is convenient to a hotel, I'll take a walk for dinner next time.
