Bidra med feedbackThis is an incredible place, we had fun. I had the hippie punch and it's wonderful. Ot was an absolutely goregous day to enjoy death this on the quay. They have tables with and without screens, music and offer food. I had a veggie wrap and chips and it was delicious. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. Their best visit before 9.24.21 how sad they are forced to close permanently (owners of docks are no longer rented to them)
What a fun! I'm glad we found this place. Many seats on the water in the sun or under the ceiling. Many decorations and funny characters and photos. Like the shield says cold beer, loud music and NASTY bathroom. Boats are able to get drinks and eat. The staff is friendly and funny! Don't wait to come back in a few weeks. Cash or cards accepted. Lots of parking.
I heard about this place on the radar. The atmosphere is very unique. It is right at the end of a land mass at Lake Michigan with all seats on a port. The parking lot is totally jammed and the walk to the restaurant a little confusing. The building itself is eclectic hodgepodge of shields with a mixture of slightly walked building. They like to blow up their music version, but if you sit down to the end of the dock, it's good. All this brings charm to this place. I ordered the Barbecue Pulled Pork Sandwich with one side of noodles. I was with my aunt who was the one who heard about this place. She ordered an Otis Sandwich. The sandwiches are baked so it takes a little time to get. The first thing I have to say is the sandwiches HUGE. My pulled pig had a ton of meat in it. felt like 2 ibs. The sandwich was Spectacular, each last bite was super juicy. The sandwich was light on the bbq, you mostly tasted the pig and that's okay because it's amazing pig. The bread where it is served is also amazingly good. The noodles I got were served cold and were good, but also anyway. I took about 2/3 of them home and nucked it later and it was much better. My aunt also loved her Otis Sandwich. The sandwiches are about $12 without side, but the sheer size of the sandwiches make it well worth it. The service was mostly good. It was very attentive, seemed simply inadequate. I think these were people who get the rudeness. Overall, this was a simple 5 stars. That was one of the best sandwiches I've had for years. Would I come back? I will.
So funny! A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Basically sitting on the water with magnificent views in an authentic island bar setting. Play music. Nothing beautiful but good service and a great place to eat and hang.
