Leopold's Tavern - Saskatoon

I had high expectations for the wings at $18, but they were just okay. The sauce was too watery for my liking. However, the burger and fries were really delicious.

I tried Leopold's for the first time and I am now a fan! Everything was hot, crispy, and saucy. Usually I have to ask for extra gravy or sauce for my poutine, but that wasn't necessary here. The Cheeseburger Poutine had just the right amount of burger sauce on top. The Crispy BBQ Rancher Poutine could have used a bit more BBQ sauce, but it was still incredibly tasty. The Deep-Fried Cheesecake was a perfect dessert, and they even included an extra cheesecake.

Burger of the month tasted good, but it was cold by the time it arrived and we literally live 3 minutes away. The baja tacos were super disappointing. Ive had them before and love them! But this time there was no mango salsa, it was just huge chunks of mango and there was no cotija also. They were also cold, but the worst part was that when the tacos were assembled in the "to-go" box, the one in the middle was completely stuffed and the two on the sides had next to nothing in it. At first I thought maybe it got shaken around during the transportation but the tacos were topped with sauce and you could tell it hadnt been disturbed at all. They still tasted good, but definitely not the quality Im used to from them!

For the price you are paying for a Cheeseburger Poutine, one would expect the meat to not be burnt.

The burrito bowl was very good. The Feta Dip was a very small portion for $19
