Bidra med feedbackExcellent place to stop by for gujarati thali while traveling between mendarda and talala on the ighway. It is operated by the 5 star resort Woods at Sassan in its serene campus in a mango orchard. Common gujarati thali is presented in a novel format that gives a satisfaction of a new experience and taste. Food is served in square copper plates with a set of 10 bowls. Food is very homely, tasty, and not very spicy. Spicy chutney is served to spice up to one's taste. Sweet 2 types, farsaan 4 types, butter milk, salad, and papad as accompaniment exceed the minimum specs of a gujarati thali. Roti, thepla, Puri, and Rotla too adds to the variety of bread. Gujarati dal and kadi, as well as kichdi and plain rice, completes the thali. Finally, dried ginger based mukhvas, too, gives a sense of newness to the commonly known gujarati thali. Delicious Gujarati Kathiyawadi food. Enjoyed their Thali for lunch. Loved the farsaan! So much variety! The service is very nice and very polite. The interiors are basic but soothing. The food is delicious!
