The Bay Waterfront Grill - Sarnia

My wife and I have visited The Bay Waterfront Grill recently because of the great service and great food prices. Gillian ALWAYS offer a smile and friendly service every time we fall for a high pint of Big Family IPA and a plate of nachos and wings. The nachos always have PLENTY of the blows and the wings are some of the best in town with signature sauce We HIGHLY recommend a weekday visit, James has a large staff who are very attentive to the customer and he actually comes to ensure that we are happy with the food and service. Beautiful second floor venue....IF you can do stairs. Nice intimate area for small weddings..showers...birthday parties. Waiters and waitresses were all attentive and did an incredible job taking care of my nieces wedding party.

Waitress was a true gem so delightful. Food was tasty and different. We had: Harvest Quesadilla (w/o bacon), veggies nachos lunch size, ribs fries.

This place is OK. Food was decent but I found it pricey. I got the fish tacos which are only 2 with a side of coleslaw, $16. Hostess seemed miserable. Really as the first person the customer sees, she should be smiling and inviting. She also was so confused when we said we needed a table for 9. It really wasn't that difficult, lol. Our waitress was great. Beer was cold and lots of sports TV which we like. If we were back in the area we would probably try another place before we go back.

Went there for a reception after a funeral. The host had reserved an area up front for lots of people. We were placed in the back general area and the food provided was placed on the side of the bar by a wall and behind a table making traffic flow difficult. There were four servers available although not very efficient for all the people that were there plus the regulars within the bar/restaurant. The gentleman that seemed to the one all the girls went seem to be the manager and other than take a few meals out, did not to want to help or assist the ladies with the multiple drink orders. During this time we could all see that the area to the right in the back was empty and the question was asked why we could not be placed there were there seemed to be plenty of room for our large crowd. The other room to the left in the back seemed to already be decorated for a party with balloons. This tells me that they do host larger, special events therefore I was confused as to why this particular event was not better managed. I have been there before and the service and food were good. The food was good this time although the service was lacking this time.
