At the end of August, we fled the touffer of Sarlat for a hotel cossued in Ste Nathalène. The thick walls built with the ochre stones of the region have protected us from ambient heat. A young team attacked the restoration of the 11 rooms that were victims of the negligence of a former owner who was not concerned with the well-being of his hosts. The new rooms are clear, sober but intelligently decorated, warm, well equipped and exemplary cleanliness. The restoration is not great, you have to let the kitchen staff have time to perfect themselves. The hotel enjoys a large parking lot and a partially shaded terrace from which we have been able to enjoy a beautiful sunset on chestnut trees and oaks that make the beauty of the Black Perigord. We invite you to encourage this team of young people we want them to succeed in their business.

Very disappointed by the poor quality of the dishes. Perigord salads garnished with immangeable nuts, fresh salad and cold gizzards. It was better with Gérard (the former owner).
