Bidra med feedbackVisiting from Australia we came here with our close French friends. What a place! We travelled winding little roads to this unique restaurant high in the mountains. The view is spectacular. The seating is rustic and picturesque. We enjoyed plain very good simple food and plenty of it. The setting is safe for children to play around the restaurant in view and safe from cars.A very special visit.
Went there on a beautiful evening with friends and families and was really amazed by the place, stone tables and breathtaking views on the valley and Hurne mountain. Food is simple (only a daily menu) but the place is definitely worth a detour when in Pays Basque and enjoying the beautiful countryside away from the crowded coast
Lace and wine What more I love coming here to eat or drink Bear in mind better come hungry because you will eat and eat and drink and eat. Great atmosphere. With friends or family or your pet.
Not far from the Grottes de Sare, take the road for Venta Halty and continue up a small road you and you will arrive at an amazing restaurant. Seated outside around large granite tables the view is amazing. Asparagus, chorizo and serrano ham starter, the main course is a choice of omellettes, small but filling, basque cake or cheese and coffee to end with. The food is simple but very good, and the price for the above for two with 50cl of wine came to €32. Check opening times as it is closed through winter. The granite seats are hard, take a small cushion or bear it for the food and views. Highly recommended for a visit.
