Bidra med feedbackI really enjoy Denny's, but I've had a problem during my last two visits with a not-so-friendly hostess. She didn't take my name for the waiting list and just told me there would be a 45-minute wait without any explanation. I would have waited, but her rudeness put me off. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this particular Denny's.
We're bus drivers from South Colonie, and whenever we have sports trips to Saratoga, we always stop at Denny's. Your restaurant is fantastic, and we truly enjoy it. Today, our waitress was Brittany, who wore a headband with devil horns, and she was amazing! She was a wonderful server, and we had a fantastic time. Thank you so much! - Kimi and Sharon.
The manager was serving tables and loudly expressing his frustrations about it. I suspected that the problems extended beyond just the wait staff. I approached a couple who had only drinks on their table, and they mentioned they had been waiting for over 20 minutes. We decided to leave.
We walked in, and were told, rather abruptly, that there'd be a 30 minute wait for food...we thought we'd wait, but.after 10 or more minutes, we hadn't yet seen our server, so we decided to leave. I understand understaffing..but be a little more personablenext time
The place was full and like every restaurant in NY that was forced to shut down by Cuomo they were still too short staffed to open the entire room and the staff looked a little stressed but the service was very friendly and efficient and the food wasdelicious! My wife had two eggs over easy with a stack of very fluffy buttermilk pancakes and I enjoyed the Santa Fe sizzlingplatter with Mexican chorizo sausage and pan fried red skin potatoes..It was a wonderful way to start the day!
